Perrins, Malvern - Residential and nursing care home
Perrins House in Malvern is a welcoming, modern home that shares the magnificent grounds of its sister home, Davenham, which was previously the home of the Perrins family, of Worcestershire sauce fame. Built on the site of the old stables, the picturesque old clock tower on the roof tells the time of day for all to see.
Located at the foot of the Malvern Hills with views out onto the Bredon Hills and the Cotswolds in the distance, Perrins House is purpose-built to provide dual nursing and residential care for 43 residents. The five-acre garden has paved areas for walks and many of the rooms overlook the extensive grounds with their rare, imported exotic trees and shrubs. Perrins House has a very active local volunteer support group, which organises concerts, functions, history and art talks, tea parties and visits, which all help new residents feel welcome.

Feel at home
Each of our pleasant bed-sitting rooms is fully furnished, and has en-suite bathrooms. Many rooms feature patio-doors that open on to the terraces where residents can enjoy their own area of garden. Every room is fitted with a television point and telephone socket, giving additional privacy and choice.
Fresh food choices
All food is freshly prepared by our cooks, and residents can choose from our varied menus for their main meal at lunchtime, plus a hot supper in the evening. All meals are served in the spacious dining room or, if the resident prefers, in their own room.
Activities and interests
Perrins House has an elegant sitting room opening onto the terrace, a dining room and a tranquil sunroom overlooking the gardens. There is also a beauty room where local hairdressers, manicurists and chiropodists visit regularly. Our Activities Organiser encourages residents to become involved in the many social activities on offer; exercise classes, flower arranging, musical afternoons, quizzes and crafts. Fortnightly church services are conducted by local clergy, to which all residents are warmly invited.
Excellent staff care
Our professional staff all attend regular training to ensure that they provide an excellent standard of care. Staff assist with bathing, dressing and all the activities of daily life, as required. A call system operates in all rooms and communal areas, giving residents peace of mind that they can summon help at any time, day or night. As a dual registered home, 24 hour nursing care is provided to those who need this and other medical services are provided by a local GP, who also provides emergency cover.
