2022 April highlights from our care homes

Across our care homes and services, residents had a wonderful time enjoying a mixture of fun activities and celebrations last month. Here are our April highlights:

At New Copford Place care home in Colchester, Essex, the care team has been celebrating Barbara Purves’ milestone 101st Birthday.

Cheeky Barbara, who likes to tease staff by ‘shooting’ them with her walking stick, had a surprising answer when asked what her secret to a long and happy life is.

April highlights - Vera playing golfNo ifs, ands or putts – residents enjoy new putting green!

The Lawn care home in Alton have installed their very own putting green, much to the delight of residents.

Vera was especially keen to give it a go and had a fantastic afternoon practicing her hole-in-one’s.

Rita on her birthday with staff from RNNH care home100th birthday surprise from down under

At RNNH Care Home in Bournemouth, one of our residents, Rita Crumplin, has been celebrating her landmark 100th Birthday.

The special day was topped off with a wonderful surprise treat – a visit from her son, Paul, who flew all the way from Australia to share in his Mum’s centenary day.
