Santa brings festive cheer to residents in Coulsdon

Santa and Coulsdon resident sat together

Residents from our Coulsdon care home were treated to a surprise visit from Santa last week!

Orford House care home was filled with festive cheer when our Engagement Director, Mark Wilson, volunteered to go the extra mile. Putting on a hat, beard and blasting loud cries of ‘Ho Ho Ho’, he sat with residents and handed out sweet treats.

Residents also enjoyed decorating the care home tree, donated by TNS Catering, with handmade decorations designed by children from local school Woodcote Primary School.

Commenting on the event, Beverley Shattell, Orford House care home manager said:

“Our residents so enjoyed meeting Santa today. The beautiful decorations provided by the children at Woodcote Primary School have ensured we have the best dressed tree in Coulsdon!

“We are so pleased to be able to share these beautiful handcrafted decorations from local children with our residents.”
