Remembering a loved one by making a donation to charity is a wonderful and lasting gesture.

Nowadays, donations ‘in memory’ are often given instead of flowers at funerals.

Making a donation ‘in memory’ to Friends of the Elderly is easy and we can take care of all the arrangements. 

If you would like to make a donation In Memory of a relative or friend:

If you are arranging a funeral:

• We can send special donation envelopes direct to your chosen funeral director who will distribute them at the funeral. These special collection envelopes let donors choose to Gift Aid their donation, allowing us to reclaim an additional 25% in tax from HM Revenue and Customs.
• We can help you set up a ‘Just Giving’ website page so that people can donate quickly, easily and securely online.

If you are thinking ahead to your own funeral:

If you would prefer donations collected at your funeral to go to charity (instead of floral tributes), you should let your executors know or specify it in your Will.
