August and September - Bands in the Park
Throughout the summer Malvern Town Council are promoting free Sunday afternoon concerts in the town's Priory Park. An array of bands will be performing from the Victorian bandstand, which was restored and re-erected in 1980’s through the efforts of The Malvern Civic Society.
Bands playing have included the Band of the Gloucestershire Constabulary, the Tewkesbury Town Band and the Malvern Hills District Brass Band.
As part of this summer season, on Monday 30th August the Chairman's Charity Summer Concert will feature fun for all the family – including, youth dance groups, face painting, balloon modelling and a caricaturist. This year also sees the introduction of some food stalls.
As Friends of the Elderly has been nominated as Councillor Tuthill’s Charity of the Year we will be benefiting from funds raised at these events.

Saturday 4th December - Carol Service, Malvern
Malvern Town Council are currently organising a Christmas Carol Concert, to be held at St. Edmond’s Hall at Malvern College in aid of Friends of the Elderly.

A date for the diary; Friends of the Elderly is holding its annual Christmas Carol Service at St Michael's Church, Chester Square.
