I have over 20 years’ experience working with older people.I joined Friends of the Elderly in 2004 and I took on the role of Manager of The Lawn care home in Hampshire in 2015.
I started working with children in playgroups and was a team leader at the Barnet Sensory Unit. When I moved into residential care I knew it was where I wanted to stay.
Working in a care home offers me the opportunity to learn and develop through listening and respecting our residents' past experiences. Our residents still continue to have a thirst for all the new technology and are an inspiration to us all.
I love to travel and I recently visited New Zealand - I would still love to travel more and experience the world around us. My spare time is spent meditating, gardening and spending time with my family.
