Community Services: Introduction

We provide a range of services to support older people who wish to live independently. Our aim is to improve people’s quality of life and promote real choices for each person so that they can continue living in their own homes and communities.

Home Support Services provide practical help and emotional support to older people in their own homes.

Day Clubs provide friendship, support, social activities and lunches for older people who might otherwise be socially isolated.

The Home Visiting Service provides companionship from volunteers visiting older people in their own homes.

Welfare and Grant Giving is a national service, which provides one-off and regular grants.

Telebefriending provides regular contact for older people across the country who are isolated and lonely.
