Little Bramingham Farm is an outstanding, converted Grade II listed farmhouse set in mature, attractive gardens. It provides quality accommodation for 25 people, and also features a modern care wing.
This lovely farmhouse is located in a quiet, residential suburb on the outskirts of Luton, just four miles from the town centre. It has been converted to a high standard to provide very comfortable accommodation.

Feel at home
The 25 spacious and well furnished bed sitting rooms all have ensuite facilities, and are provided with a TV point and telephone socket. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with small items of furniture, pictures an photographs to make them feel at home. Communal rooms include two pleasant and welcoming lounges, a light and airy dining room, and a conservatory. For ease and accessibility the building has a lift to the first floor.
Fresh food choices
All food is freshly prepared by our cooks, and residents can choose from our varied menus for their main meal at lunchtime, plus a hot supper in the evening. Refreshments and light snacks are always available and our homemade cakes are justly popular. All meals are served in the pleasant dining room, or if the resident prefers, in their own room. There is a small pantry where residents or guests can make refreshments if they wish.
Individual care plans
Whenever a new resident joins us, we prepare an individual care plan with them and their relatives, to encourage independence and inclusion. The plan covers personal care, diet, activities and hobbies, and all aspects of how we can make their stay enjoyable and comfortable.
Excellent staff care
Our professional staff all attend regular training to ensure that they provide an excellent standard of care. Staff assist with bathing, dressing and all the activities of daily life, as required. A call system operates in all rooms and communal areas, giving residents peace of mind that they can summon help at any time, day or night. Routine medical services are provided by a local GP, who also provides emergency cover.
Activities and interests
Little Bramingham Farm has two communal lounges for residents to enjoy. The home features a hairdressing room and a local hairdresser visits every week. An Activities Organiser encourages residents to become involved in the many social activities on offer, which include bingo, exercise classes and card games. There is a minibus at the home and trips are arranged to the local shops and places of interest. A Church of England service is conducted once a month within the home, to which all residents are warmly invited.
Warm, friendly atmosphere
Friends of the Elderly’s homes provide a warm, friendly atmosphere and a truly caring environment. Family and friends are always welcome, and can stay for lunch or dinner if they wish. There is a happy community spirit enhanced by regular get-togethers for pre-lunch drinks and other events. In the warmer weather, the garden is well used and popular with residents. Residents are encouraged to get involved in tending the garden if they would like to do so. Our residents are treated with dignity and friendly courtesy, and we never forget that this is their home.
