The new Friends of the Elderly Bradbury Centre, a crucial new Dementia Resource Centre for people in Woking and the surrounding areas, is now completed.

The Bradbury Centre will augment our services in the Woking area and provide much needed facilities for those with dementia, including a base for our Woking Home Support Service, a Day Club run in partnership with Woking Alzheimer's Society, an office for Advocacy in Action and amenities to support the professionals and careers, amongst many other resources. We would like to thank the major funders which include The Bradbury Foundation, The Big Lottery Fund and The Bernard Sunley Foundation who have enabled Friends of the Elderly to undertake this important new project.

The building work on the centre began in Summer 2006 and our Woking Home Support Service were the first to move in to the completed bradbury centre on the 4th June 2007.
