Shoppers and visitors at Elmsleigh Shopping Centre in Staines Upon Thames yesterday got the chance to find out more about Moor House, their local care home.
We ran an information stand at the shopping centre on 3 May, offering information about the residential care Moor House provides for older people. This was designed for anyone who might be looking into residential care options on behalf of an older relative or loved one, or who might be interested in a career in health and social care.
Moor House is a purpose built residential care home situated on Vicarage Road, Staines Upon Thames. Its dedicated team offer friendly, individualised care for older people, providing them with a full range of activities and outings tailored to their likes and interests, whilst placing their family and loved ones at the centre of their care.
Yesterday’s initiative at Elmsleigh Shopping Centre was part of Friends of the Elderly’s current Be A Star information and recruitment campaign.
Jessica Stone, Head of Business Development for Friends of the Elderly said:
“We are dedicated to putting all our care homes at the heart of their communities, and to fostering great relationships within them. We currently have a number of health care roles across our care homes, for which we are keen to recruit people with a passion for, interest in and commitment to supporting and caring for older people”.
