Donations and Support

Resident at Woodgrove Grove HouseThe continued generous support of Trusts, Foundations and Livery Companies is vital in ensuring that Friends of The Elderly can help those in need now and in the future.

Your Support Counts

Every donation makes a difference. The financial support that we receive ranges from substantial donations over several years, that help us to start vital new services, to small donations that pay for a new coat or a repair to broken heating for older people in financial need.

Last year over 80 Trusts and Livery Companies supported our work. We value the partnerships that we develop with these organisations and regularly update them on the difference that their support makes.

Thank You

What our supporters say about Friends of the Elderly ...

“We have been enormously impressed by the effectiveness and efficiency of Friends of the Elderly, which deals with elderly applicants with great care and sensitivity and makes a real difference, with relatively small amounts, to so many individuals in need every year”
Andrew Blessley, Secretary, Clothworkers’ Foundation on our Welfare and Grant Giving service

“As a very generous and caring couple, the late Mr and Mrs Cobbs wishes are met by Friends of the Elderly. Their objectives of affording dignity and respect for older people means that we are delighted to assist their work in the community. This support for older people is very much needed.”
