Friends of the Elderly has been nominated by The Outside Clinic as its charity of the year. The charity was chosen for the outstanding contribution it makes to improve the lives of older people.
The Outside Clinic, which is the largest and longest established provider of home eye testing in the UK, wanted to support a notable and worthwhile charity that provided personalised care to older people.
The decision to select Friends of the Elderly, came after they were thoroughly impressed by the charity’s commitment to providing high quality care services to older people, both in the community and through their care homes.
Lynda Oliver from The Outside Clinic explains why she is confident they have chosen the right charity to support this year. “We are delighted to be supporting a charity that is dedicated to providing practical and emotional services to older people which will greatly enhance their lives. Everyone at The Outside Clinic is looking forward to working closely with Friends of the Elderly over the coming year.”
